I'm about as redneck as it gets yet I still manage to be able to spell properly. Turn auto-correct off on your phone and open a dictionary. Very easy to learn to spell. They do still teach that in school right?

I've said my peace, and the reason my grammar is bad, is one spell check on this phone changes every word I type, two I can't half spell crap as it is so the words really get all messed up, and last I can fabricate, work on desiel engines to 2 cycle engines, and can design anything but I don't have to use grammar and punctuation in my line of work so I could care less. Until I wear suit every day to work i'll be the same country redneck I am every other day.

I'm sorry, but I'm from a small town in Arkansas. I work in the woods and consider myself more of a Redneck than most Rednecks and I know how to spell and use punctuation. Being a Redneck or country boy is no excuse for ignorance. Now before you go getting hot under the collar, go look up the word. I didn't say "stupid."

Hmmm... After 200k miles, do you think it's about time to get the original oil filter off and get a new one on? That's just for starters...

It's the design. The zj has more head room. The zj has more foot area and more arm room. Also more room in the back seat. But not in the cargo, well it's taller and wider, but not at the door.

Sure. For instance in the mud the v8 is going to spin larger tires better. More torque will do this. Slick hills also the v8 will perform better.
In solid traction situations I think you would be better off with the lighter xj. Also compared to the v8 700lbs is quite a difference.
What does it for me is not lb/hp. Its the ergonomics. The xj has more advantages. Light weight means less breakage also. Especially with the same axles.
Like I said I have both.

For me, it was the 4.0/aw4 that sold me..."bulletproof" is used alot to describe them. I worked at a auto dealer and rarely saw XJs come in unless it was for aftermarket goodies. A guy who worked there had a ZJ with a 5.2 and was always getting something fixed, and had alot of tranny problems. You could get a 93 ZJ with the 4.0/aw4 I believe the only year, if you wanted the more room and reliable combo. I also like the looks of the XJs, and they are kinda more like the original GPs (Jeeps) where smaller/ lighter is better. Anyways thats my opinion and personal experience, hope I spelled everythingcorrectlyguysthanks!!!

I can spell, just when i'm using my phone to talk on this forum while i'm working or helping my wife with our kids it's not easy to make sure every sentence comes out correct. I also only have a 3.5" full touch screen phone, so letters are not the easiest buttons to push. I also sometimes will think faster than the words will come out, so occasionally they get jumbled up. I'm not ignorant just don't have the time to correct all my spelling mistakes.
No I am not Honey Boo Boo's dad. I am a diesel mechanic, what I ment by fabricating is if a dump truck or 18 wheeler needs a part I usually build it if reasonable. I have built motor mounts, hood hindges, dash panels, even welded rods back together, driveshafts, and tons more. Im happy fabricating takeing something that is destroyed and rebuild it buy actually building the parts yourself is a far greater experence than just spending alot of money on just straight bolt on parts. So I do not want to "move beyond fabrication", because its easy to learn how to tighten a bolt, but making a bolt now that is alot harder.
