have 2 bolts holding the xmember to the frame been sufficient enough so far?

I really dig the simplicity of the cross member
1.I made a mount off the front, ill snap a pic tomorrow
2.clearance, and I prefer a axle tube mount over a cast mounted ca mount
3.no, those mounts aren't going anywhere. 1/4 mounts welded to 1/4 box with slot of welded surface area.
And I even added lower gussets to the mounts that aren't pictured
4. The inner frame is plated and has 3/16 bosses welded through the rails, I fell like it will be enough. This weekend is the first big wheeling weekend since the 3 link. But comparing it to my rear 4 link crossmember that sees much more torque and has a similar mounting systemaand has been flawless

well in that case I will probably mimic your exact work when I do my cross member lol. good idea making a mount off the front I had never thought of that. your style and design is almost exactly what I had in mind. very nice work. any plans for a tcase skid?

Thanks appreciate it.

Since the tcase is level with the frame rail I'm just going to do 1/8" steel plated with 3/8 uhmv from the front crossmember to the rear

And on that note, my 3 link

2"x1/4" dom with 1.25" heims

One more question did you use the stock axle mounts on the lowers with the heims ?

Yes..stock axle mounts.
Eventually I will go further to beef up the setup. I used heims on the xmember end and poly bushings on the frame just to help eat some vibration. The welds are pretty decent..not sure what your referring to with custom setup instead of "ther" full 3 link..
This is a 3 link

Most 3-links I've seen tied the upper link in on the driver side. I thought I read this flexed better being on the opposite side of the axle from where the track bar mounts. Is that true? Just wondering any advantage/disadvantage to which side the upper is on as I see you went passenger side...

I thought their 3 link had johnny joints all around and a mini truss that went over the differential

you will not notice any flex difference between passenger and driver.

As said before, I went passenger side for clearance mainly
