He didn't say it was on the highway. Clearly, he meant on a track or in a place without speed limits because the site rules say not to talk about illegal activity
And having done over 90 in all my Jeeps, I can say it isn't the end of the world.

if you decided to do a dana 30 guset it and all the mounting points. my dana thirty lower mounts were starting to bend and rip off not to mention the holes oblonged out. the top mount on the tube was also bending. so i did a hp44 and 9" swap in my jeep to fix this issue

A kid came to my shop the other day with a full size dodge 4x4. He said he recently had a bad wobble in his front end. I said is it constant or at what speed does it happen.
He told me straight faced it happens at about a hundred mph. I said why are you going that fast? he said it was fun.

I'm currently in the same boat. 35's and stock gearing, I've been dying to drive the jeep again.

Nice jeep.
You know I have been all about installing 4:88's in my jeep. I currently have 33's. On the road it sucks. I mean you can drive it, but I think it sucks.
Off road in low(the only gear for off road) it is a beast.
I did these hill climbs yesterday at a 4wheel event. I impressed myself to say the least. It just rockets up these steep nasty hill climbs effortlessly.
Would lower gearing help me off road right now? I honestly do not think so. Would it hurt me? questionable.
When I go to 35's I will re gear, but I think now only to 4:56 with 35's. I don't care if it sucks on the road any more. I am used to it. So as long as I wheel 33in tires. I am not re gearing.

not sure about what you wheel, but for rocks, stock gearing is a nightmare on 33's. trying to spot someone up over ledges that they just do not possess the torque for is painful. and you can hear the jeep hating life

I imagine if I had a standard it would be more difficult. And I know I don't have near the rocky terrain that you do.
