Ok so, I went against part of what yall were saying and bought a 2000, however for the price I couldn't pass up on it, just gotta fix a few quirks and itl be ready to be modded!

You can probably beef up the cooling system and the head will be okay, just dont overheat the engine and hopefully the head will last for you a long time. 3 core all metal radiator, zj fan clutch, high flow water pump and thermostat housing are all good things to do. I would also do an aggressive cooling system flush.

Start a build thread when you start working on it with lots of pics!

So iv been looking into lift kits, and more unconventional ways to get some extra space under it, Iv seen some bastard packs in the rear, with upgraded front coil springs and spacers in the front, any thoughts?

The bastard pack can give you a lift cheap,The down side is its trail and error on the spring rate when you build your own.It could ride rough as hell or smooth as a caddy.
