Bolts are that weak. I did the same a couple months ago. You'll have to drill out the bolt and rethread. Make sure you use grade 8 bolts, otherwise you will keep breaking them. And lay off the roids man, lol.

Hit a bit of a rough patch with these past two weeks;
From the top:
-passenger side windshield wiper is discnnected or broken(cant get the access pannel off)
-driver headlight exploded (gotta love hitting an "empty trash can")
-windshield is cracked
drivers side seat pan broke (swapped with passenger seat. I dont sit there anyways)
-fuel pump
-some plastic regulator bs piece in the cooling system ( bi-passed it)
-somrthing stated f****** up in the 5 speed. won't shift into reverse. prolly slave cylinder

Recently put a lift on. Snapped all four bolts on the rear shocks. Had to drill from the top and put bigger grade 8's in (now i have holes in the floorboard to fix). Broke both sway bar linkages trying to take the nut off. Oh well, needed to replace the rubbers on them anyway. Had the welds on the driver side door mounts cracking (no idea how). So had to get that re-welded, and now the door pops when I open it from misalignment. I'll never go to that guy again. Replaced my class II hitch with a class III and had to use a plasma cutter to get most the bolts off after busting the welded nuts off the plate inside the frame. luckily had new plates to put in. My AC system is just there to fill in space in the engine bay. My engine clicks, but I'm afraid to dig in that on my DD. And this is all in the past two years...still love my jeep though

Yesterday would be the power steering pump, then of course i had to snap the plastic outlet on the reservoir. Tonight will be the reinstall, lets see what snaps this time.

Putting new leaf springs on and one of the U-bolts some how had its threads striped. Had to cut it off, funny thing was it was only a few months old and it was the only bad one

Hey don't know the whole story on your AC but on my 99 WJ it wasn't working either. I charged it and ran the colored fluid through to check for leaks... Nothing. The problem was fixed by replacing an electric fan that sits behind the radiator. Not it works like a dream. Don't know if you checked that out or not.
