Beefed up my roof rack. The bars that came wih it were like 1/1000" thick (see pic). Dumb. Had local fab shop order me some rectangle stock. 1/8" thick wall. I can jump up and down on it now. Reconfigured gutter brackets with a hammer to allow for larger diameter bars. Nailed it down with some tek screws. No trail tree can defeat me now!!!

I started with mirrorless visors, I went to the junk yard today with my dad mainly to get a strut and shock for his malibu. While there, I looked for a cherokee.. none.
Then i seen a 97 Grand Cherokee, the visors seemed the same size... so i put them and installed them. I didn't hook up the lights but, its a better look now.
Really wish there was a way to install the over head compartment and wire it in from a grand Cherokee.

Took out my center console and soaked each piece in hot soapy water. hosed em down, wiped em off, scraped gunk out of the tight spots with a toothpick. Popped em all back in and my front seat area looks new!

I could. If you think about it, the things you do with your Jeep are kinda like the things you do with you best bud.
