I had a serious death wobble develop yesterday.
I was on my way home from Harbor Freight, taking advantage of the July 4th sale.
Got the 301 piece Professional set for $130 Before you say its junk this set is actually CR-V made in Taiwan, I have some of the CR-V stuff that is 25 years old and never broker one yet.
Add to that list a toolbox and new Jack.
So I get home at 45mph because the DW started at 48Mph.
replaced two questionable tires today and had the front end alignment done.
I told the Mrs a year ago to get it aligned, typical of her time table it got done today and they found a bent adjusting collar, from the previous owner and collision with a stump or something.
Well now it drives like a new one.
No more DW either, I couldn't find any slack anywhere in anything to be causing it.

Installed a new battery in my XJ today (Duralast Gold). Cost me $103 after taxes. I've noticed that my Jeep starts alot stronger with this one than the red top that used to be in it.

I changed my left front wheel u joint. it was so bad that it was getting hard to turn in parking lots and dangerous to drive. I also changed the whole hub assembly cuzz the bearing was bad as well. found a few new things to tinker on while it was apart. I found that ona the bolt holes to hold on the brake calaper was stripped pretty bad. I drilled it bigger and put in a thread insert. threw it back together. steers alot better now
