Cleaned my NSS and distributor cap along with the wires. Just have to clear the check engine light. Hopefully it works, there was a lot of mud and grime in both.

Changed the front diff oil and seal today because I noticed the slight whine/growl at around 2000rpm, no more, no less. I knew that I had a leak in my front diff so I thought the oil had just gotten low enough to make the noise. After a replaced the seal and oil I still had the noise. I did some investigating and discovered that I can reproduce the noise while in park and reving to 2k rpm. So that eleminates the diff. Tomorrow I will run the engine without the belt to narrow it down to either the engine or one of the pullies. Its funny becuase the noise only occurs around 2k rpm, nothing higher, nothing lower.

started work on my tire carrier... just retrofitting an S10 Blazer carrier... my buddy had a 35 on his, so a 33 should be cake
today I fixed the lug pattern... cut and rewelded the carrier, went from the s10's 5 x 4.75 to the XJ's 5 x 4.5
maybe I will start on the mounts and braces soon

The old one came out pitch black because of it running full rich.
