Fashioned up some hood spacers today because I was bored. Not exactly sure how much good it will do if any at all but I figured it was worth a shot since I had the tubing laying around!!

took the Junk yard factory speakers out of the sound bar I found and put in some new Sonys

 

Oh I came home to that.. The city is making our neighborhood that has been septic since the 60s connect into the city sewer system. Regardless, it's hard to pass up a free opportunity like this in ones front yard (in my opinion anyways lol)

 

Lol for sure they are making us here also do that and city water also it sucks

 

I have had hood spacers on mine since i bought it. It def helps heat get out!

Did you get bolts to go into the captured nuts? If so, what was the like thread pitch and stuff?

 

Well the bolts that I got were M8x40mm. They are the same size as the stock ones just longer to make up for the spacer, and they fit in there just fine

No problem! So far things seem to be running a little bit cooler. I haven't driven it enough yet to get any solid results though

 

my hood is done the same way and i dont see what the purpose of it. it may run a little cooler but i dont know i am putting mine back down to stock because it makes the hood look all messed up.... i fixed the oil leak and swapped out the windsheild wiper assembly
