So update on Betsie. She has moved from one spot to another. New/used rotor is on. caliper was lil rough to get back on. She stops so far...lol
Paint and interior done. This week she's getting the blocks and spacers put on along with nerf bars to hide bad rockers. Looking for a meaty set of 33's to slap on her. Got guy in my area selling red neons. So might snag them up. Lil by lil she's getting there. I've been busting my *** for weeks now. Few of my guy friends are amazed that i did all this so far. Guess they don't wanna believe a chic like me can run the same game they do!!!! ::::sticks out tongue::::

Here's some more pics.
Ripped headliner down and replaced it with some cool fabric I picked up at the fabric store. Did the sunvisors the same way. Used extra fabric to make mini tonaeu (sp?) cover for the back hatch.Painted dash so it kinda looks like wood grain. Painted rims white. Had new decal made for front windshield sine the other one was too small to see.

newbie here
After reading 90% of this thread over the last few days, I have alot of new ideas for the jeep. Here lately of the past few weekends I have replaced the head liner, front and rear seats, the carpet, center console, installed a new overhead center console, ripped off the exterior molding, sanded the entire thing and started priming last night. going with total bed liner coverage and will top coat in some sort of a scheme breaking the body up somehow still havent laid it out yet.
Trying to decide what lift to go with and also trying to convince the wife that it does need to be lifted. Lol It will get there.
Going home tonight to tear out a friends headliner out of his 95 and get that one done for him. thi will be my third since I have done mine. all about trading labor for parts and cash to invest back into the jeep.
Sorry guys havent taken many pics but will start from now on.

shes got it in her head that this is going to be her ride to some degree when its all said and done and she doesn't want a lifted ride. My comments to her on that one is then she doesn't want a jeep. But she gawks at the several lifted cj's around the area and compliments the cherokees running around slightly lifted, she just thinnks there all factory height. Once I can get it street worthy and rollin and can parkit beside one she will get the picture and give in really quick.

She'll realize that she has to look up to admire one parked next to you. Then she'll tell you to lift it. Tell her need to go bigger to stay home...lol

Jeeprsgodeeper: LOVE the orange and black. I think it looks awesome. I also like the way you painted the hood. Been thinking about doing something similar myself to mine. The faux dash looks cool too. Great job overall.
What have I dont lately? Lets see:
New starter a couple weeks back. Used a '98 and swapped the plug-n-play adapter over which was SUPER easy and saved me $100 bucks! The '99 starter (my Jeeps a '99) was $190ish brand new, lifetime warranty but the '98 was only $99. Not too shabby. Right now Im looking at a heater core and ac evaporator that Ill start work on tomorrow. Yesterday was like 100 and today is 90+ here, tomorrow should be 85ish and since I hate the heat and work in my drive it NEEDS to be cooler or Ill die. In my garage is new leaf springs, u-bolts, shackles, shocks, etc., to do my suspension, which will get done AFTER my heater core (sick of the coolant mist on the windows and not being able to drive further than 2 miles). Ive also got a set of amber fog lights and a pair of 6" off road lights that need to go on. Oh, and I put new rear hatch bumpers on too, AFTER I fixed the stuck hatch of death problem, which was SUPER simple. Ill post a how to fix it soon, hopefully.

Theres ALWAYS more! Im in northern Maine, but Im ALWAYS up for an extra hand, especially from a girl who likes to work on Jeeps and has tattoos (Ive been in and out of tattooing for 15 years). Too bad you dont live next door. I missed the headliner before, not sure how, but that looks cool too. I like your Jeep a lot. Kinda like a pimped out rat rod (hope you dont take that the wrong way, its a compliment).
Drove to a junkyard priced some hearts(engines) found a very suitable heart(engine). Susan's(my 1991 red jeep Cherokee) heart surgery(engine replacement) can start soon!
xD haha
