What did you do to your Cherokee today?
I tore out all the seats, removed the two front doors, and rear hatch, ripped out the carpet. Found the previous owner had cut a hole in the floor to get to what look like shock mounting bolts.
Cried a little, when I tried starting it, in hopes it might have crept back to life, only to find out I killed the battery trying to start it too many times. Now not only do I have to get a new/charged battery, I need to get a fuel pressure gauge, multimeter, and figure out if my previous issue was the fuel pump or the filter, or something else all together. my XJ is no fun right now, empty wallet makes XJ just sit there.

I was able to put the lift in one side in the front and finished the other side half way.... I ran out of daylight. I seriously need a new droplight. I finished the back the other day so tonight it should be complete.

@Bubba. Some mistakes I overlooked when viewing my XJ before purchase. Make sure you know when its going to need an oil change, new tires ect. General maintenance that might hit your wallet after purchase. Make sure you look for damage everywhere. Mine has a dent on the top part of the hatchback. Check for leaks, noises ect. If it needs any immediate maintenance try to work the seller down, as well as leaks and so on. Check for little convenience factors: does it have 2 original keys, remote fob, do all the doors open easily, do the locks work in conjunction with one another.do all the windows work. Turn signals ect. Are there locking lug nuts on the wheels (I had to pay 45 bucks just to get them taken off because the previous owner destroyed the key) There's my 2 cents haha good luck on your purchase!

98 XJ Sport...Thank you for the input and help. I have made a list of what to look for so I don't get too excited and forget to look at the important stuff. You have mentioned a many things I have forgotten to write down. Thank you so much!
