Had to drill out the cross pin bolt in my Detroit locker and damaged the bolt hole. Needed to get the locker out so that I could reset the backlash and preload on the bearings... now have to have an open in the rear for now... oh well... will have to work on getting another one or getting this locker fixed.

Maiden voyage
I bought my jeep with only the left side of the exterior lights working. Driving around a big city like that is asking for a fine.
I figured out what the problems were on monday, fixed all but one on tuesday, and picked up the elusive tail light socket I needed to finish it up.
I had lost all hope on that last one (without having to go to the junk yard anyway) Until I read on here that it is the same as an old ford and oreilly's had them for 5.99. Thanks to that I got to drive my baby to work this morning! Wahoo!

Replaced water pump, fan clutch, upper inlet tube, lower rad hose and almost 3.5 gallons of new coolant. I've been sweating all day! It sure felt good to drive home from my buddy's house without the heat on! Almost like I had a/c!
