painted the sides and tailgate.
painted new header panel
found a spot to buy passenger fender, headlight bezels, and grille for cheap
prepped my driver side fender for paint.
Spent 4 hours cleaning the inside of the jeep (first time since i bought it in february!) and found new rust.....and a cleaner jeep!

It's Alive!
Gonna have to modify the name to Frankenpeep.
Didn't do it all today but some pics of where it's at.
Before, the horror, the horror.
Add 16ga steel, laminated application, 38lb of weld wire, a whole lot of cuttin and fittin, about 100 spatter burns, long days and late nights.
Paints drying tonight.
Tomorrow, reassembly. Connect the battery. It's alive, it's alive.
It must be an XJ thing.

Replaced front carpet with a very good used one. The replacement had a very worn rear section so I effectively used the good front section and left the original rear section (behind front seats). The carpets are overlap "seamed" under the seats & console. When the seats & console were reinstalled, it's impossible to tell that a seam exists. Shampooed carpet. Repaired broken console rear plastic bracket. Repaired shifter bezel as well as the heater duct weather stripping. I effectively killed 3+ birds with one stone. Only thing I wasn't able to do was to paint the floor boards as an unexpected storm was heading my way.......

went to do laundry and enjoyed the masssive flooding in the area. Wanted to do exhaust but its been raining from 2am and it is about 10am now. Im mad i wont get to do exhaust but ill make the best of the day. Having a garage iss golden at times like this edit: upon going to white castle to get some food i took a video of the puddles. Wanna try and upload it later. Phone would stay though. Im thinking of making a mount for a camera
