New tires last Wednesday, alignment on Friday, and new water pump, t-stat (195 degree), and hoses today. There was a 180 degree t-stat in there from the PO, it now runs cooler with the 195 t-stat.

Replaced my passenger side tail light sockets that broke/were broken when I pulled off the factory tail lights and replaced them with aftermarkets.

Ended up ordering a 3-wire socket to replace the 2-wire R. Blinker socket as it was the only one I could find that fit into the tail light correctly. Replaced the 3057 bulb with a 3157, and wired it into my parking lights also, so now both top and middle lights function as a parking light.

Now I have to order another one and do the same with the Left side.

Finally got a really bad rainstorm so I though it was time to check my new tires (that I got months ago) to see if they would slip in the rain going uphill...like those crappy bald Daytons that I had...Didn't Slip a bit. No surprise there though. I only wanted to test this because when I first got my XJ I was taking it up a hill in the rain and felt my back end slipping and fishtailing a little bit, they eventually grabbed but the thing that scared the crap out of me was when I looked in my mirror and saw a huge tri-axle dump truck behind me filled with coal...

Haha it rained today here too. I can't slip my MT/Rs if I try on dry pavement even if I floor it, but today did a few sweet burnouts with like 1/3 throttle.
So today with my Jeep I found out that my tires smell like burning rubber bands when they get really hot (smells really bad)

With the whole top gear discussion, they had a which American truck is the toughest. It was a bunch of older models though; dodge ram, chevy silvered, and for f150. They had an off toad challenge in Alaska and whose ever truck broke down, they had to go ride in a rally looking toyota truck. The Chevy ends up winning

The Chevy won in Alaska.

drove her to work today. She had a temper tantrum when i started her up. Sounded like nails on a chalk board and my alt wasnt too happy either. I guess driving through flooding and letting her sit 18hrs afterwards pi**ed her off

Saturday I disconected my front swaybar and yesterday I took it out wheeling.Yesterday was the first time I wheeled my xj with the front swaybar disconected, I ended up ripping mt front fender flares off and bending up my fenders pretty badly with the tires so i guess i have to trim my fenders now.
But look at all my flex
