Took her out in the sand dunes, she did great, except for slipping out of 4hi. Shifted down to 4lo & got myself out. She then shifted back up into 4hi w/ no problem...do I need to adjust linkage? any thoughts?

check your trans mount and possibly adjust the linkage a tiny bit.

Got my new seat pan in to fix the broken one on the passenger side, so I started disassembling the chair.

UPS is saying that I should get my vent wing windows today.

Sweet

Removed and replaced the gasket on my tranny pan and all the fluid. Ended up having to put in a full quart of Lucas tranny additive as well and 4 and 1/2 quarts of tranny fluid. Most of the drips seem to have gone away. I may have overtightened the bolts tho...noticed a bit of drips yesterday.

Hey good to hear. Just one thought, If you lift with shackles you will have to modify your beautiful new exhaust pipe. I did. Hope you like it. Looks good.

hauled some firewood I got for free to my campsite, but before I could make the trip back to camp, I discovered upon closing the hatch how easily the hingeless back window pops out...scared the **** out of me, thought I broke it. it just popped right back in though, thank goodness.

next major modification? Ford Explorer window hatch hinges and lock!
