Well do what your gut says. ask yourself some questions. is it in good condition. what do you forsee yourself having to fix in the near future(any rust, high mileage, old parts?) and if you can honestly say that your all set except for obvious periodic minor fixings and mods that will happen with any jeep, keep it, since building a new one will just be a time setback. but ultimately, no1 on this internet knows your jeep like you, so we can only help but to me sounds like your conected and if it is worth 6k(must be nice!) then keep it and love it forever

Drive to work. Noticed my swaybar link somehow came unhooked and went up behind the mount between that and the coil. Should have left it off to begin with

Mounted a shovel on the right side of my rack and mounted a Jerry can on the left.
I also repainted my rear bumper (which looks 100% better), and bought some diamond plate mud flaps that I'll install tomorrow to keep all the rocks from flinging the rear quarter and starting rust.

Went wheeling, found out Moody Hill is not really doable in a stock XJ without a spotter, got hung up on the same rocky spot three times before I overheated and decided to wuss out. Found out after overheating that the heat soak misfire issue does happen on a 96. Went and did some easier trails instead.
I smashed my tcase crossmember pretty badly and something seems/sounds/feels broken. Going to look closely at everything underneath tomorrow to find out what I messed up.
Was a good day.
