Been working on the wife TJ all week to get it out of the garage so i can do some things on the xj and dam if the alt just up and quit. I am not sure when the alt died but the optima battery got me home before the engine quit. so just finished the alt and back up and running ready for the weekend of wheelin and camping and our big raffle. hope the luck is with me this year.

Looked at the damage from yesterday when I was rear ended by some jack@$$ that thought he could pass on the left when theres double solid lines and I was turning left. Some people are just complete wastes of space and air my jeep could be using to run.

Yeah, I've just been resetting the CEL since April, but now I have to pass emissions. I reset it and their system showed 'Insufficient Data' so I gotta figure it out.

Did the pinch seam on the rear quarters separate?

I've been tinkering with it since I bought it last Monday.

Just went and ordered the blower motor resistor to correct an HVAC fan speed issue (only works on high)....installation tomorrow.

Just got back from Sears with a new cordless drill (will help when I get lights) and an angle grinder. I decided today I'm gonna trim my bumper to keep me happy til I can afford a nice one. It's marked with my very precise pencil guesstimation, and now I need a place where I can do it. The property manager has been lenient with my tinkering, but I think that might cross the line since the lease states I can't even wash the Jeep in the lot.

Filled up and calculated mileage, I'm getting 17mpg in town, mostly stop and go, and I have been driving it hard almost constantly since I last filled up. I love my new style intake manifold.
