Planned a CB mount location, still kinda ing on it, older model XJ's weren't exactly designed with interior expansion projects in mind.

put a thrush turbo muffler on it even though i'm sick, i found out that the d.a.p.o. had replaced the stock muffler with a stock replacement, he cut off the flanges that are between the cat and the muffler, discovered that it wasn't the right way, and then clamped everything back togather.

Ordered a new JCR Offroad Pre-Runner front bumper today...

http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/...egory_Code=XJB

Is it wrong to spend more on the bumper ($505, with shipping) than I did on the Jeep itself? <grin>

I can not WAIT for it to arrive in 3 weeks or so!

Took it grocery shopping. It seems to like that and we even cruised the gas station but he didn't need anything from there so we didn't stay long.

Took her to my friend's garage that does my "involved work" and ran her up on the lift looking for a roaring in the front end. Went over every joint, zerk, and universal. Didnt find a thing that appeared wore out. Got the tires balanced and pulled a screw out of the left/rear. Overall no rust, nice undercoat job, and happy that we did a good job.
