About to inspect/try to fix my false floor. Then I'm gonna put the bottom two bolts in my license plate with some rubber washers to stop it from rattling when I crank the stereo. Called a guy to drill out the two broken bolts on my fuel rail. When I replace those, I guess I'll also replace the one that's mysteriously missing. Might explain my problems starting....

Anyone know what size bolts secure the fuel rail on an '01?
Also, what size bolts/washers did you guys use for your gas tank skid? (ZJ skid on an '01 XJ)

Got tired of people telling me that they can't see my brake lights.

Been reading a bunch the last week or so, I haven't even paid for my XJ yet, but there is so much great info here I know I'll stay. Getting a '93 XJ Country, 127k in great shape, all stock. After reading the junkyard compat thread, I couldn't stand it. I'm on a two day trip in Vegas and struck out this morning to the pull-a-part with nothing but my Leatherman. I got a hood light (mine was broken), a ZJ alternator, and a stock Country wheel with a decent tire for a full size spare. I wish I'd have had my tools. They had more than a dozen XJ/ZJ's. I'm not an off roader (yet), just got it for a DD during my Montero rebuild, but I fear I've been bitten by the Jeep bug. Cheers to all my new friends.

Thanks Peep. I just took the Ballistic skulls and traced around them and ground out the shape with my dremel.

argued with the wife about her buying a computer game vs me buying the head set to repair the jeep...she doesnt see the point of fixing the jeep, yet we have to take a cab everywhere we go...*sigh*
