Was going to put a new header and intake onto my friend's XJ but another friend needed a clutch fixed in his ford. Replaced the slave cylinder. Still grinds. Replaced the master cylinder, linkage was bent. still grinds. replaced slave again because it was leaking. STILL GRINDS! bled it over 9000 times. adjusted it over 9000 more times. bent the firewall since it was bent (common problem on manual trans 80-87 Ford trucks. After 7 hours, it still grinds and shifts worse than before.
moral-NEVER buy hydraulic clutch parts from auto zone.

Went and changed out my exhaust system. I now is running a 2.5 inch Magnaflow cat, a 2.5 in Flowmaster 40 muffler and 2.5 inch pipe.
It is a little too loud right now so I will be removing the Flowmaster 40 and replacing it with a SpinTech pro street muffler that I have sitting around.
Painted the whole lot with black high heat paint. Also re undercoated the thing as it was not done right back in 95' and was starting to show.
Installed a new under hood work light as mine was missing.
I also had my father Tig the treaded section of my shifter back on while I was welding the exhaust together.
Next up is repainting reciver hitch, getting a new switch for the rear dome light, and an oil change.

I replaced the rear cargo light assembly with a used one that wasn't burned up at the button switch. It will be nice to have some light back there for a change. I also gave it a much needed bath.

Got stuck. Dropped a bike to a friend, stopped by the shop and then she wouldn't start. First just a click click, then the battery died after a few tries. Brought the battery to a shop to have it checked. Not only it's not empty but it's also in a really good state :/ Put it back on the Jeep, cleaned the battery connections with sandpaper, tried again, but just a few click click at first (louder than I think a relay would be) and then only a small click (really like, sounded like it came from the PDC) and then nothing. So the battery is now charging and I'll try to clean the connectors on the starter side and see what happens...

Drilled out 2 broken bolts on my fuel rail and replaced them. (6mmx1x44, btw)
Then I hit up that mud pit again, and on the way back a guy in a 2011 Ford 6.7L Diesel Super Duty told me I had too much mud on my truck to get anywhere. He started revving, so I did, too. I beat him light-to-light three times in a row before I had to turn.
He was really cool, though, and we were laughing at the lights.

Finally got the rest of the XJ bed lined,all black know.Have to resign from the green XJ,s I think it turned out ok.just have to get use to it.ATTACH]68940[/ATTACH]

If it still does it, try having someone tap the starter with a hammer when you turn the key. If it starts then, your starter is on the way out. Ask me how I know.

Hey, thanks for the info... I thought a started had magnetic parts and tapping on it was a bad idea... No?

Started removing bolts in my rear bumper (epic fail) so I could mount my hitch. 1 broke and 1 broke the threaded washer that holds it in place. I will just drill them slightly larger and replace with grade 8 bolts, washers and nuts. If your gonna do it, might as well over do it!

Nice! I was gonna replace the ones in my fuel rail with grade5, but they didn't have the right size. I was all excited to show you my Jeep tonight, too. It's horrendously filthy, but I have to wash it up a bit tonight or they won't let me in the gate tomorrow.
