Test fitted my jy set of thule roofrack rails and gutter mounts along with my junkyard cargo rack, valley brand I think. Scored it all for $40.

Not what I did but what I plan to do. Came across a local to me place that specializes in all jeep parts. Got a quote on my rear spider gears for $50. Guess I'm going shopping. Also has a few xj's for sale with clear titles. Daveysjeeps.com if anyone is looking. They sell on eBay too.

Purchased a stock Air Cleaner box from member "TheXJFiles"(arrived Saturday) Went ahead and installed it today to replace the Half A**ed Cheesy aftermarket unit that was on my XJ when I bought it.

Had to make some vacuum lines and reroute some stuff(no thanks to the previous owner),but it all came together well.I feel MUCH better(more secure) now that I have the stock unit installed.

Attached is a pic of the stupid aftermarket unit and the mickey mouse way it was plumbed and well,if you all own a stock XJ,you already know what a stock air cleaner box looks like installed.

Changing that as soon as I can find my screwdriver...
