My 90 XJ came to me without a vent in the front diff. Oh there's a hole for one but the fitting is gone. I attempted to rob the one off my 86 parts vehicle, but ened up breaking the metal fitting getting it off.
I took the pressure line off the steering box of the parts XJ and cut a short length of the metal line off and hammered it into the hole on my diff on the 90. Sorta like a press fit. Ran the rubber hose up along the firewall.

Took most of the cosmetic stuff off my 96 XJ today. It looks stock besides the bumper, lift, and a few other things. Gonna start body work on it in the shop tomorrow, then it's off to paint!

Replaced the hd flasher that proposed that it would outlast my jeep (tridon brand). Replaced junk fram oil filter (didnt know about issues or wouldnt have bought it) with a purolator pure one filter. Bought new wipers. Talked to local shop bout my exhaust. Getting new cat back fm series 40 next monday. Busy day.

Spent over an hour getting all the mud out of the way so I could replace the starter. I spent an hour (including hydration breaks) doing the swap cause I didn't have a 13mm deep socket. It started flawlessly the first ten times in the parking lot. Then I drove a few miles, cut the engine, and now it's back to cranking a few times before starting. I'm slightly unhappy, and at a complete loss.

Finished my angry eyes, along with shade tinting turn signals and side markers. Gave her some more 10w-40 (she likes to mark her spot when we park). Also painted the D ring from a game i play with my friends. We hide a D ring somewhere on one of the jeeps (3 YJ's, 2 Tj's, and the Almighty XJ) and once you find it you pass it along. Now its Red and Black, time to hide it now

Rockin Rust
Picked up a new rocker panel
Started separating the pinch seams. Got the top seam pulled apart.
Going to Harbor Freight to pick up a spot welder to make this go easier.

Hammered the starter to get going again (after being stuck about 12 hours in the snow, it wasn't the starter that was going to stop us!!!)
