I just got done with the finishing touches on my Rear Main Seal replacement. All thats left is to add oil and hook up the battery. Then I can fire it up,Hope and pray for no more leaks. This operation has taken me almost a week,havent been real motivated to get it finished...Please wish me luck on the leaks being gone.

lol still havent gotten around to it? 
1. throw the jeep up on jack stands.
2. remove wheels
3. remove cotter pin at the passengers side steering knuckle and pull the nut(19mm ?)
4. tap on the draglink with a rubber mallet or deadblow. should come off.
5. install your trac bar bolt (with or without locktite, I did on mine) and torque to 40 ft lbs
6. push the draglink end/ball joint back into the passengers side steering knuckle. nut back on. install new cotter pin.
7. tires back on
8. go wheelin

heres some pics of my lawn edging fenders. not the best but i made due with what i have. im doing fiberglass fenders soon so i didnt care too much.

Took it for a drive,and it appears the rear main is sealed,but now I have an oil pan leak...a pretty substantial one at that. Im narrowing it down to the front area on the drivers side where the block meets the timing cover,in the corner. I put RTV between the bolt holes on the gasket as advised on many writeups,but I may have smeared it when I installed the pan. Hope this is the area leaking,dont see any other leaks.Ive sprayed it off at the coin op car wash and im pretty sure thats where this leak is coming from.

Carpet is out w/ minor rust & the suspension lift has arrived *possum grin* I'll finish inside when I get supplies. Gonna' see bout gettn this lift put on. Have a good one ya'll. Will post pics later.

Oh, today I checked my Jeep for oil leaks and CELs (recently changed oil and reconnected a wandering hose). So far, so good.
