got my old u joints out. put new brake pads on but need to compress the caliper before i get it on the rotor. hopefully putting new u joints on tomorrow and then waiting till thursday to get my brake dust shields so i can finish the job.

I replaced the oil filter adapter o-rings today.... mostly due to the fact that the oil i run is up near $5 a qt! I had gotten used to the sight and smell of burning oil every time I slowed down!

Finally got my tag. So, since I haven't had a Jeep to drive for over a month, the first thing I did was go wheeling. There's an area where they started building streets for a neighborhood, and it fills up with water when it rains. Well, in my enthusiasm to get out there I decided that a quarter tank was enough, and... My gas gauge lied.
I had to have my friend, in his 2wd xj, to take me to get my gas can.
Oh, by the way, does anyone with an ax-15 have a weird gear whining/grinding in reverse?
