And the oil filter adapter.

Try doing the adapter first. The leaking oil can run along the pan rail to the rear of the engine and look like a rear main.

It's actually better that you didn't find a LSD in there. The stock lsd is crap, and swapping in a lunchbox locker if you had LSD would require changing the entire carrier and resetting the gears.

Or you could just order an LSD rebuild kit keep a clutch from the old LSD and reshim it tight as hell, but that's a little more thought out than a lunchbox and will still wear.

What should the oil pressure be. Say at an idle and while on the road.

the higher the better bud... mine did run at 80 then went to 60-80 then went to 0 at idle and 10lb per 1000rpm. which happens to be the minimum nessicary to run an engine.

the oil pressure was telling me to rebuild, better and stronger. we have the technology...

but that was a slow process over a years time. until i melted a piston.

Became an official member of the local 4wd club last night and today I affixed the decal I got with the membership.

*Between 37-75 psi over 1600 rpms

I usually run 40-50, Ive never seen it drop below 40... It was running at 60-65. It was unsettling.

We may have the technology, but I lack the expertise and the funds...
