I changed all the wipers on the XJ today. However the rear one was an epic fail. Looks like a jy trip is in order.
The second pic is a school paper my 6 yr old daughter brought home. Needless to say she got the answer correct. I'm so proud!

Angry no electric......no run

i am attempting to repair/replace a 1990 cherokee engine wire harness. it is unique (apparently) to the 1990 laredo 4.0 automatic with AC lounging in my garage. i have gotten NO SUPPORT from 1:Jeep/Chrysler 2: Jeep specific repair shops (a bunch of boutique posers) 3: THIS FORUM & 4: about 30 wire harness speciality shops who talk big & produce no help. NOW WHAT?

What kind of answer are you looking for? Replace it! Call junk yards and see if they have one. I've got a harness in my garage from a 91 that's going in my 89 to get rid of the renix set up. It's not a hard job to swap it. Unplug and remove.

the oil pressure was telling me to rebuild, better and stronger. we have the technology...

but that was a slow process over a years time. until i melted a piston.
Mine is at 0 at an idle. 40 running. I am getting ready to re ring and gasket. Not sure if it sounds like I need a new oil pump or if re ring will fix it

you're probably going to have to rewire some of it manually. Why are you replacing it / what's the issue / where are you stuck. Need info so we can help as best as possible.

I strongly suggest you pick up a Factory Service Manual for your year. You can usually find them online for a decent price. I bought close to a full set in PDF form off ebay a few years ago for a crazy good price. They're absolutely necessary when tacking anything in depth, especially electrical wiring

Well not just today but over the last week...With the rear end serviced and buttoned up, the bearings are smooth and the rear breaks great. Onto the front end, over 210000km on the bearing hubs and they are still great, pays to buy the best SKF made in USA! Total brakes now awsome again. However the axle universals died in last weeks 1st snow fall (they were half pooched prior) I knew last year no grease fittins was going to be a mistake, the new uni's are in (with fittins), front brakes refreshed while it was apart, front cardigan joint drive shaft somewhat suspect upon inspection. Well it snowed all day today and storm all the way 2.5hrs home. The cardigan is done (growling and vibe, just checked it, rebuild required). However the XJ did me proud. 4 wheelin all the way, blinding snow, long lines 20 kph maxing at 60 kph. Many pretenders to the thrown falling to the wayside, funny next thing you know the XJ is breaking trail for the convoy, howling like hell under load, but trackin straight and true. A 22 year old jeep, 528000 km, with some sore joints, leadin the pack thru a white hellish wonderland, kicken but and not stoppin to take names.
I was so proud. Today's my B-day and the jeep gave me some great lovin! I'll be pleased to fix that shaft on sat.
