I read where you got them from rock auto, but where is a good place to buy a cheap one? I've only one cause its a 94 and i know Bosch is a no go with the XJ but Autozone has another one but if i spend the money i want a good buy not a overpriced POS.

came to the realization that the track bar i got on craigslist is going to be too short since it was built for an OTK setup...

so I went and bought some more stuff to make myself feel better!
Stock gas tank skid for $50, as well as a slightly worn 30" M/T tire/wheel combo and some 3/4" coil spacers for $30

yea... definitely sucks. At least it's not a total loss - still got a double shear mount and a frame cross brace out of the deal. I was so excited about the TB too - it has johnny joints on both ends. Contemplating sleeving and extending it but i think that's too much work...guess i just need to sell it and cut my losses. Maybe I can convince Clayton to sell me just the bar and axle bushing since I already have the JJ end at the frame...

Put the new sway bar links that were on the 4x4 (before I replaced them with discos) on the 4x2. Then I suddenly realized it had a C8.25 on it! Because it's a mid-year '96, I'm not sure if it's a 27 or 29 spline. Unless someone can tell me how I can figure out what it is WITHOUT removing the axle or spider gears, that's what I have to do. I hope it's a 29, 'cos then I'm going to swap it with the D35 on the 4x4!
