Well i was out in the driveway washing my jeep when this white 2001 xj from around the corner drives by and i wave at him just like i do everyday, but today he stopped and suprisingly he asked me if i wanted to sell my roof rack, we talked for a few minutes about cherokees and how awesome they are. i had never talked to him before in my life, but it was pretty awesome!

its not really trying to get rid of it, sort of deciding whether i like it or not. ive been taking it on and off quite a bit, but now i think im gonna finally let it go. im planning on stopping him tommorrow if he drives by and cutting a deal.

Glad you got a potential sale! Yeah when i meet a stranger and can talk to them its awesome but in my town there are 5 XJ's that are semi built/ cared for, the others are white trash. Of course theres the wrangler people and the JK moms, The grand cherokee line is about the same all stockers except for one thats built and all the other Jeeps are left alone left to live a desolate life, ignored by their owners and waiting to die.
and i fell you man, we have a local jeep club here and there are a few xjs around so i know pretty much all of them, and the few lifted xjs that i dont know i wave and most of the time get a wave back. as for the soccer mom jks, teenage girl wranglers, and grandmas driving zjs.......

Today I painted [black]the screws that hold my plastic door sill covers down, vacuumed stuff out of the top channel on the rear hatch and scrubbed some crusty brown crap off the rubber in the rear window. I think that's all.
