They're on right now, but I don't have a good way to get light. I'll take some pics tomorrow for you. I am VERY pleased with them and found that 1 can of primer and topcoat was sufficient for 5 rims. The 'hammered' texture is pretty forgiving too so runs in the primer (not from me. I'm not good with a rattle can so my buddy, who claimed to be good, put 3-4 runs in the rims and I can't really find them any more. scratches from the sanding are completely nonexistent too. Way good deal for a $12 investment.

I would add that the 'Hammered' Rustoleum does not need a primer beneath it but does say on the can that it holds better with a good primer. Since my wheels had a lot of rust I wanted to clean them up and make sure there weren't any issue.

If you are serious about this, search the tech threads for the wheel painting guide there. It is a good template I just went a different route with the paint.

I just replaced my head gasket, had head machined. Replace radiator, water pump and thermostat while i was at it. I'm not a mechanic, just a tinkerer. It runs now that its back together, but it back fires and has a sqeaking noise that wasn't there before. I wish I had just taken it to a shop. any suggestions??

it would be on the cluch. When you push the clutch in it puts it in neutral.

Here they are. If there is a certain shot you'd like to see, let me know and I snap a pic. Tons better when you see what they started looking like !

Oh yeah and I am fully aware that the filler plugs are still taped. I don't want to pull up any paint when I remove the tape. A bit ****, I know, but it isn't hurting anything the way it is now and it is worth playing it safe.

I'm trying to figure out where to find a tool to fit the screws that hold the door onto the hinges. Or even what that tool is called.

97+ xjs with manuals have an interlock. gonna try to bypass mine today so when the gf and i are in the back, i can leave it in neutral and start it without having to jump in the front seat and risk people seeing me..lol.
