U-Joint for rear axle. I had to cut off one that I messed up putting in. I put the zerk the wrong way, and I think one of the little pin bearings fell into the cup while mounting it. I couldn't get the U-Joint to fit in property. I just cut it off and started again. My first time DIY on U-Joints.
Tomorrow I'll put the second one in...easy-peasy(sp?). I would have gone faster, finished in a couple hours, but I'm recording the whole thing too.

She Devil Dog
Been some real cold and early snows these last few days. Ice slicked driving.
On a moonlit blustering night sky the Peep searched the back land for that she devil dog.
Spotted her elusivly in the blowing snows under the full moon and fast moving black whisps of cloud.
She hopped in shotgun and we headed home for some fluid checks under the hood. This is the 1st ride the dog didn't woof up in the jeep.
A little kibble for her and a small nip to flavour my coffee.
We and the Peep are in for the night.

Got my PIAA's wired up and lit today. Also got my lower valance fogs as well. Installed dual switches to the right of the shifter. Looks factory actually.

Finally swapped in new oil pressure sending unit and coolant temperature sending unit to go with my gauge swap, but my oil pressure stays at 60 until I've driven it for awhile, and then it acts normal. I also went to the junkyard and for armrests and mufflers. I decide to try a few different combinations, so I got two mufflers. One is the secondary muffler from an late 90s early 2000s grand caravan, it's basically a glasspack. The other is a Thrush Welded, a flowmaster 40 imitation. $5 apiece.
Right now I've got the caravan muffler on, and it sounds pretty good, it's a little quieter than no muffler, and it cuts out a lot of the raspiness.
