Stock shackles were too short. Didn't work too well. So now I'm putting 1.5"shackles back on. Guess I will settle with a sharper angle. More down travel. Less up. Oh well. Any other ideas?

Did my own alignment after installing my lift. Equalized my tire pressure and extended the vacuum lines for front axel

U can go with shims instead of drop shackles. It also corrects the angle. They come in 1.5 inch as well

Does the relocation bracket give lift as well?

If I put an 1.5"shackle at 45° it gives me like an extra 1.5" lift. So puts me at like 7.5" and I want to be at 6-6.5"

Replaced the power steering pump. It just went crazy and spewed fluid everywhere. It soaked the lower half of my engine and the axle and all the steering components. Oh well, replaced the belt while I was at it, hopefully it'll stop squealing when it's cold or wet now.

I also unloaded my jy D44, so now it's not a low rider anymore. Anyone know off-hand what the XJ D44 weighs, and whether or not it has bigger drums than an 8.25"?

And I put it on jackstands to test it: no Trac-Lok

I'm surprised you had to trim. 5 1/4's didn't even fit well they were too small. 6.5" fit the holes perfect with my pioneers.

Looks good though.
