Dropped the synthetic oil out of the auto tranny and put dino back in. Maybe will pick up the 1 mpg I lost.

Im pretty sure they dont make synthetic dexron III....

After 2 months to the day. I got my XJ home for Christmas Finally finished replacing my rocker panel, added rock sliders and a gas tank skid. Painted the fenders flares, and started my cruise control swap.

Looks nice!! Gotta do my girl's floors/rockers on her '93....they were extremely far gone 2 years ago when she bought it. Now there is nothing left of either floors or rockers...doors have even caught the cancer. I am NOT looking forward to it, but even though she bought the Cherokee for only $600 2 years ago, and even though the rot is that bad, the damn thing runs and drives SO good (at 210K or so) that theres no way we are getting rid of it.

Patched some rocker panel rust with some quicksteel. Worked great. A little prep and touchup had it looking right. Also... DD'd it the last two days!

haha yea ill volunteer to help put those parts to good use. they need a good home! lol

how could you get rid of an XJ? ill never stop replacing parts and keeping my dixie alive, i couldnt break that bond!!!! lol
