My original cluster didn't come with a rpm gauge either, so I swaped this one in, easy swap, also needed oil pressure and temp senders for gauges. But I believe they make a set of white gauge covers for your style also.

if you swap the cluster you don't have to do anything for the RPMs
if it's a separate gauge pod, use the green wire (terminal C) coming off the coil
if it's a separate gauge pod, use the green wire (terminal C) coming off the coil
