Broke exhaust again.. Friggen snow bank was harder than I thought. When chassi came down on it, the exhaust flexed enough to snap right off of muffer. It was never installed well originally and since then its been subject to issue.. Monday she's gettin fixed.

I replaced my battery and headlight switch. The dash lights and T-case indicator backlights were staying on regardless of the headlight switch position. The new switch didn't fix the problem so I wired a quick disconnect clamp onto the positive cable ends. For now I'm just leaving the positive clamp disconnected until I can trace the short in the wiring. I'm pretty sure this problem is what completely drained/killed my previous (only 1 year old) battery. Unfortunately it's an intermittent problem so it's kinda tricky to figure out what is causing the problem and where exactly it is in the harness.

Ripped all the smog/emissions and cruise control crap off. cause I dont need it in Alabama and its 90% offroad duty.
Oh and poked a hole in the radiator with the sawzaw blade accidently while cutting one of the ac lines off. Guess Ill get to braze that up now.

got my box built at work and put in. going to try and keep the cargo area clean being my DD i have been keeping it ON the road and just dropped a good chunk of money to get er runnin right. had mud in the gas tank. lookin for a beat up old 4x4 xj to play with. anyways heres some crappy cell pics. 1 JL 12w6 in a sealed box at 1.253 cubic foot. on an alpine mrp-m500.
wanted to keep the very clean appearance and getting the width to match the needed airspace wasnt happening so its a small box with "wings" or beauty panels to keep everything clean.
bottom, back, and sides of the box and the top piece goes all the way across
got the baffle cut and jigsawed out the contours of the wheelwells and qtr. panels
hole cut out. every screw hole was predrilled and countersunk and every joint glued heavily.
got it carpeted, sub mounted up and put the box in. Like a Fu**in GLOVE.
other angle view
very very clean tight bass and is deffinately able to drop low and make your vision blurry and stuff jump out of the cup holders.
been a good day
