there was zero RTV left on the sealing surface, it had all been squished out, the bolts were easily tightened to 50-60 lb-ft.

but then again, I probably have seen 1-2 people use RTV properly.

Pressure washed the outside and under the hood. And by that, I mean I sprayed the clumps off it cause the boss is visiting soon, and I was told it can't be sitting in the parking lot covered in mud.
