With a BFH and a pickle fork.. It was dark and I was rushing. It ended up taking a chunk out that went 3/4 through the spacer so I knew it was going to fall apart and ordered a new set that day. I drove it without the one spacer for around a month and didn't even really notice just had a small dead spot

I put my angry eyes on today. Bout the only thing I could do lol. Sprayed the rockers lower doors and rear wheel wells with truck bed coating and ran some seafoam through her. Named her black Betty and put on some stickers

Yea I have a 92 and wish I could find a sound bar so I can get rid of the speakers in the hatch and doors. But everyone has beat me to em at the jy lol

Keep them in your hatch, just re build the bottom of the cover in mdf. Gives you more room for better speakers and gets rid of dumb vibrations. And yeah they are hard to find at the jy

Started putting Rambo all back together after all the bodywork, mods, and new paint.....

This XJ will be one of a kind once its done.

I have the same Kenwoods in the back of mine. Good speakers. The only downside is I couldn't fit the stock grille back over them.
