The Peep rolled 540000 km today, 4.0 Renix still holds good oil pressure even on old oil, 60+psi cold, 45+ hot, 20+ hot at 500rpm idle. Replaced rear main and pan but all internals including pump are original. Head and valvetrain original, yes it has some ticks and knocks, most are probably my failing exhaust manifold. The AW4 has had some fluid and filter changes but otherwise original, the NP231 has fluid serviced and fresh chain over the years, ouput shaft seals, but all else is original. The power steering pump is original although seal is now failing, balance of external accessories have been serviced or replaced. The D30 and the D35 (non c clip) are original as are the carrier bearing sets. An they said it wouldn't last...
Well the dog and I treated her to an oil, filter and air breather change tonight.
Cold? You betcha! (Dog was actually a suck stealling my gloves and sittin in the truck half the time.)
Winter has definately arrived. The Peep chuckles at the gusting winds throwing snow and ice into our path, engages the trans case and breaks trail through the county at 5am every morning. If it wern't for the Cherokee tracks how would the plow know where to follow?
Very happy with her, should plan a jeep party when she reaches 550.

Heard there was a ban on towing vehicles today due to the snow storm so I went outside, brushed off the 9 inches on snow we got and drove around and had some fun.

fixed the green LED on my shifter indicator that went out last week.
Some douche in a honda at school was talking crap to me and my friend about jeeps being for ***s, so we filled his car with tire smoke. Roll up your windows if you wanna talk crap!
Then I aligned my headlights finally, they were bad. Also rolled over 130k
