So I got rid of my cruise control instead (didn't work anyways) and I also relocated the vacuum ball from behind the bumper to the cruise location.

Finally hit 50* today so decided it would be a good time to give it a wash and get the winter grime off! I think its supposed to rain this week, but at least it looks good now!

and found another project to start. Its not something I did to the xj but it will be towing it one day

Swapped my rear drums for discs! Also managed to splice the abs sensors from the ZJ onto mine so I still have a functioning abs system without the idiot light on all the time (which was more work than expected)! But it's all together, and I'll drive it around tomorrow after I bleed the brakes! I'll attach some "finished" photos tomorrow.
Edit:
Parts used from a '97 ZJ:
- backing plates
- calipers
- left e-brake cable
- ABS gears from both axle shafts
- ABS sensors (cut at body)
New parts:
- rotors and pads
- caliper bushings, boots, and bolts
- Right hand e-brake cable (for a '98 explorer)
- axle seals

I had a giant crack and hole in my dash, so I had been looking for a place to mount my phone holder. So I cut a hole where I wanted it, dug out the "foam" and made it somewhat flat, next is some JB weld and an aluminum disk to fit in the hole.
