As previously mentioned i lost the battle with tightening my steering column today. But i did defeat the heating/cooling issues i believe. Eliminated the hcv that was leaking. Then took my boys to bball practice. Good times.

XJs are known to cut wires inside of the doors, my driver side speaker is cut and only goes on when I open the door. I gotta get in there and fix it sometime.......yeah, sometime.

Chrysler wiring is like that. I have to fix driver door wires and during the wire my pops rewired all wires in the hatch grommet cause they broke too.

I seriously need my entire XJ rewired. My radio cuts out when the front wipers turn on, my door wire is cut, my dash has a loose wire that makes all of the gauges turn off, my lights in my headliner are screwy, my alternator doesn't like to keep the battery charged very well. So, rewiring and an alternator...

Try just the alternator first before you do the wiring they do that some time with the lights, radio, and so on try that first then think about the wiring. Just my 2 cents
