No, I don't lick fish.
..... alright I haven't been on in a while so I'll do a recap - most of it was acquired in October. Here it is:
went to the jy mainly looking for a rim to replace my bent one... wound up not finding one but I found a list of other great things...
1. Stock replacement leaf springs to replace my worn-out saggy ones - $40
2. Instrument cluster with working gauges - $20
3. Rearview mirror and mirror button to replace the one that wouldn't stay on the windshild because it was pitted - $5
4. Sideview electric mirror because mine was flopping around like a fish - $10
5. Leather-wrapped steering wheel - $10
and the best one of all...
6. Yakima roof rack cross bars - $10
Yup.... got a boatload for under a hundred bucks.
Flashforward a few months to the present... due to having the Yakima rack I no longer needed the stocker cross bars so I turned one into a roof mounted light bar with 4 55w halogens on it
took off the yakimas to have full clearance on installing the light bar and that's when quitting employees at work dropped the OT bomb and took away all my time to work on stuff.... oh well, more money to throw into the jeep.
wound up busting my windshield so there's a guy coming to install a new one tomorrow - just as a heads up for everyone in FL - don't misunderstand the statute... the insurance deductibles don't apply for replacing windshields, but you now have to have full coverage otherwise you're going to have to replace the thing out of pocket.
Alright, I also ordered and already received a new 15x8 AR Baja rim to replace the bent one... along with finding a set of 4 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S 235/75r15's for 175 bucks on CL... got them mounted and balanced at a local shop here for 80 bucks - discovered that two more of them were slightly bent - threw them on the back, can't even tell.... huge difference in the way the thing drives now... love it
anyway... I'll post pics up once I have daylight again to do it... just thought I'd catch up

Fixed the rear upper shock bolts on the right side, had it aligned, put new plugs cap and rotor, and put a bypass pulley on in place of the a/c compressor. Not happy with out come of that but gonna look at it some more in a bit.
