On lunch break, checked my latest codes and in addition to the P0301 I now have P0455 & P0456 (Evaporative Emission Systems Leak Detected...Large Leak and Small Leak respectively). I don't have time to read up on the site at the moment, but I suspect some filters, hoses, etc. are in my future.
I'm also curious as to how long one can actually drive a 4.0L (2001) with bad rings. I figured it was only a few hundred miles, but I've driving almost 1000 miles since I bought (and then discovered) that I had a bad motor (cycl. 1 rings being the most likely problem after extensive reading and checking).
Oh well. Back to work, gotta earn that money to pay for that new motor!

Work in progress. I took a hitch that went to a 1998 S-10 and cut it to 33" and tacked to front. Then took the ends and used them as the plates for a secure weld to the frame. There is enough clearance for a plate for the eventual winch. I will use the stubs for a bull bar and unsure what I'm going to do for the ends right now but will eventually add more. I don't this in about 2 hours at the cost of 0$ since I had the hitch already
Could be cool... Could be hilarious. I haven't decided yet.
No, I don't lick fish.
lol... I'm an overachiever
nice... I have a set of HID's in mine... but I think I might look into those and then upgrade to a set of bi-xenon's... I hate the halogen "high-beams" this kit came with... they're terrible
