Fixed the exhaust on the ol' '88 Pioneer, used a 3 1/2 inch long 2 1/2 inch i.d. patch pipe ($2.69 at Autozone + 2 clamps at $2.69 each)
The weld between the catalytic converter and muffler the previous owner did broke. I had to grind down the catalytic side with the trusty Harbor Freight angle grinder enough to pound the patch pipe in place. I cut two grooves in the patch pipe to allow for expansion. Surprisingly everything fit so tightly the exhaust is very quiet now. I put the nuts upward on the clamps so they won't catch on any forest and field debris and took it through the mud pit twice and a few laps and some hill climbs at the gravel pit.
Solid like a rock...(apologies to Chevrolet)

Best price, highest quality combination I could find. You get two 5 1/2 inch stickers, you can get different colors too but I just went with the default white color. You peel the backing paper and stick on your carefully pre cleaned window and then when you have it pressed down firmly everywhere and no air bubbles you remove the paper from the front leaving only the design. Much better than having it printed on a clear square. I'm not affiliated in any way, just a quality product from a family owned business.
