Pulled my dash panel and replaced the bulb behind my HVAC controls. They now light up... For the first time since I got her!
Now I'm thinking about the other dash bulbs. I guess there would be one behind the rear defrost switch and the rear wiper switch... Does anyone know if there is one behind the lighter or the headlight switch?

After having my 87 XJ for nearly a year now, I have finally got the time to make her go doorless. That was a fun couple hours after breaking 2 T40 torx bits and using nearly a full can of PB Blaster and nearly half a grinding wheel. Come to find out the rollpin in the lower hinge on my rear passenger door had rusted/seized up in the body-mounted hinge portion, which made for an interesting procedure of getting it loose. Was all smooth sailing with exception to that one hinge.
