Prepping for next weekend's intake/exhaust upgrade. Just got yhe new manifold bolts and gasket today. All that's lacking is a TB gasket and I'll have everything I need. New 63mm TB, 99+ intake manifold, 703 injectors, Doug Thornley header. At some point, I'll cap it off with a new exhaust...probably a nice Borla, since I love the sound. If I have time (I probably won't), I'll see about installing the new snorkel.
Here's a pic of the header I picked up a couple of weekend's ago:

Finally replaced my trans mount after struggling to get the crossmember to line up with all the holes. My old on ripped apart, and now since I replaced it it doesn't clunk anymore! And I replaced the tranny oil. Good day of work, even though I somehow make a simple job take longer than it should.. Oh well I'm still semi new to this

I got my rear axle and shocks and springs out, and the new springs in.
My friend did something to his today too: totaled it. He was t-boned by a Mitsubishi Montero. It's especially sad because he had the cleanest XJ I've ever seen.

Thanks,
I live in Littleton. Maaco charged my $400 and I did the prep work. I prepped it for primer but found out too late they only seal it and shoot it. oops. So it is not as smooth as I wanted but it's better than it was. lol
The Littleton Maaco is rated one of the highest for the Maaco's nationwide. And they did a decent job for the price. Since I prepped it they let me pick a urethane paint and color. Otherwise if they prepped it, it would have been the same price for non-metalic enamel. $600 for urethane.
