Today I took a BETTER look at my motor mount/broken block situation and discovered.......NO BROKEN BLOCK!!!!!! there was a chunk of **** that APPEARED to be a large crack, but wasnt.
So this weekend I get to extract some bolts from my block, get a w mount in there, and go beat the **** out of her for scaring me like that!
NO CRACKED BLOCK = HAPPY ME!

Just did an oil change for the first time on the new engine. And I also discovered the case of oil filters I bought off a guy on CL are the wrong ones!! Man was I pissed!! I think they may be for a yj with no adaptor the hole is just a tad to big! Well ive got a case of filters for a yj, and my yj has a 355 Chevy. Guess they'll sit on my shelf till I buy another yj, which could happen Saturday. Lol

I had some issues wheelin' a few weeks back. broke my u-joint for the front driveshaft, AGAIN! This time, we found the problem though. The little teeth on the yoke that hold the end caps in, were actually broken, so we had wrapped it in duct tape and continued on. Interestingly enough, it held.
Well today, put a brand new, heavy duty, D44 yoke on the fron with u-bolt straps! I will be dammed if it comes apart next weekend! HAHAHA

finished welding my passenger side floor in...was all done in 105 and 120ga steel, including some angle iron to weld the floor too. it actually stiffened up the whole XJ lol. now on to the driver side.
