Just for more strength, and really only because I had some extra 2x1/4 DOM laying around

I've already landed on them quite a few times without any bending. But a little extra security is never bad

I agree. It allows you to "put your thing down" a little harder.

Nothing on the white Jeep since it is sitting till I get a motor built. But I did get bored at work and decided to do a front a rear diff service on the green one.

Painted the covers with spray can bedliner.

I took it and got State Safety and Emissions done on it. After an hour of being on the machine, cleaning out the intake and almost a 1/4 tank of gas it passed. Now I have to figure out how to make it ideal lower and produce fewer emissions!
Any suggestions??

Installed my new bumper at midnight then went wheeling from 2am to 5am. Tons of fun.

damn TJ decided to spin mud all over my XJ. it was tough wheeling looking out the door and getting hit by branches.

it drives fine on the road, you can feel if you hit a turn hard it leans, but its a Jeep, not a sports car

One thing that sold me on it was synthetics inability to store energy. From what i have read, i snaps, it falls. Unlike steele which will snap back. I have three little boys that always go with me. I am all about thier safety.
