well, finished putting on 6.5 RC lift last weekend. took it for test drive and had a bad case of the death wobble . took it in yesterday morning to the alignment shop, picked it up last night drove it home, got it up to 65 or 70 with no DW, everything is good. Then i had to hit my brakes!!!! instant death wobble at about 65 mph . not cool!!! so anyway, i gues now i move on to checking and changing ball joints and TRE's. we will see what happens.

well I started to have a charging problem
so as always first thing to check is the battery and connections
and the negative terminal was varnished

varnished is when the terminals look clean but are not
they had a mostly transparent coating on them so I cleaned them up and
now no charging issue any more

Swapped out my rear shocks, broke a bolt on both sides, paid someone 35 bucks to re-thread the holes, first bump the right one fell out, drove it home on the leaf spring. Was brainstorming on what i should do, crawled under looked at the hole, decided to try the old rusty bolt that didnt snap fit like a glove, took her on the trail no problems.

I contemplated a rail shifter, then I bought some trinkets for it on ebay, then I drove my little one to the doctor through some muddy road construction, and back to work to buy a new air filter. Then, later, I cracked a beer and put my front licence plate back on since it was ripped off earlier

replaced trans lines and put the oil pan back on.

found timing chain to be very sloppy- hoping maybe it is what I am hearing slapping around. there is not much else to change on the thing that could be noisy

should be getting the parts for a rear disc conversion tomorrow or saturday.

took him out on the beach. Democrat Point(my favorite fishing grounds) opened up the first of April. Now we just need to bass to start coming in. Did see 7-8 seals, thats a good sign. Bait fish in the water.
