Bought this jeep for 800.00 dollars:
1988 2.5, 5spd 4x4, cold AC, had a broke Crank sensor, got it home, fixed it, gave it a tune up, waxed it, put on a new track bar, a 2" BB and AAL kit, painted the wheels satin black and traded the tires for these 31's on craigslist, not in one day, but in One week.

How I bought it:

changed the oil & filter ,put in some new plugs and replaced the worn out gas piston's on the rear hatch. tried to figure out why the electric antena motor won't shut off when it's all the way down.but that's a job for another day.

Oil and filter change. Also had my electronic flasher replaced, so hopefully my hazard lights won't stop flashing 10 minutes after I turn them on.

bought plugs wires cap and rotor for it. got the oil pan on it last night and the trans lines replaced - that one piece rubber oil pan gasket from fel-pro is the shiznet. not a drop of a leak so far.

I picked up an complete open axle original XJ Dana 44 with 354 gears for $200 bucks I found on Craigslist. Now what do I do with it? My 8.25 is still going strong so I'll probably take my time and rebuild the Dana with a locker for future use when I left my Jeep.

Not a thing, she's sitting back home in TN while I'm in Salt Lake City. But you can believe I have been daydreaming about wheeling the trails in these beautiful mountains.
