He's referring to the sway bar, stock sway bar connects have to be unbolted for offload use ( for maximum flex) many people make or buy quick disconnects so all you have to do to unhook your sway bar is pull 2 pins.

I know I removed my rear sway bar as I was told it was mostly worthless. Are these quick disconnects a must before you do any real off-roading? If so I would like to make some on the cheep as well. I have only had mine lifted for a little while now and haven't had the chance to take it anywhere serious. Also it's my first one and there are many things I do not know.

On a side note, anyone have to deal with a completely disconnected catch on the rear hatch? That's what I'm getting to later today as I haven't been able to open that thing for like 3 months now. Ha ha, the latch screwed up the day I replaced the lifter arms for it so it could finally stay open without me holding it with my head.

It's not a must have for mudding/off roading, but it allows for a smoother ride. You can just unbolt the stock ones, but after a few times you'll realize it's a pita compared to quick disconnects

Once you tweak you sway bar a lil, the disco's are a big pain to use too. Be a man, loose the sway bars!

As for your catch, I had the same problem, worn out pistons. Just bought new ones and it's good as new

I did, I don't take mine on long hauls, just around town and beach use, leans a bit more around turns but it just makes me laugh when my passenger freaks out haha

Exclamation alot of work in a short time.

Well sorry if I am not doing this correct but I am new to forums completly but a friend told me to try this site. I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that i traded for my wrangler cause I needed more room, today I changed all the brakes, rotors, replaced my rear lamps as the housing was broke (let a friends drive it.....) and washed it then it rained.. anywhoo have a question maybe someone can help with. I have a power drivers seat and it will move forward and backwards it will not move up and down but when i press the switch on the side I hear the motor. pulled the side of the seat off but can't see anything out of place, anyone have any suggestions for fixing it?
