rust
Installed new thermostat and heater hoses, flushed rust from cooling system and degreased engine bay. Put the damn thing in the air to degrease bottom half, only to discover a huge gaping hole in the drivers floor board (dont know how I missed that the last time I had it in the air ). I wondered why the floor board would freeze in the winter after the inside cooled down. I only drove this a few times last winter, as it was my in-laws backup vehicle and decided to buy it.
Luckily my buddy owns a bodyshop and told me to take out the interior and he would patch it for me. Oh, and it's weird how this portion of the floor board is so bad and the rest is damn near perfect.

Yea it just goes in the receiver. There is also anti tilt thing that clamps on to the hitch bar and receiver to keep it from shifting back and forth. It's ok but I think I'm gonna shim up the hitch bar so it fits tighter. I'm taking welding classes, ill hopefully get it done in class thursday.

I can't stand the wait. I put back some $ and washed out my large cooler. Gonna fab up some yank rings for the front while I'm at it. Tomorrow gonna get my rear gears welded up too.
